Are you sweet on Provincetown? Then plan to be here this weekend when the Purple Feather Cafe & Treatery holds its sixth annual Great Provincetown Chocolate Scavenger Hunt. Chocolatiers will create up to 20 unique chocolate sculptures (this year's theme is mermaids) which will be hidden in different business locations up and down Commercial Street. Find 16 of the 20 and you'll be entered in a daily drawing for a package of gift certificates from participating businesses; find all 20 to be entered in a Grand Prize drawing for a two-night stay at the Surfside Resort Hotel. Admission to the hunt is free, but you must be at least 12 years old to get an entry card. The hunt runs from 11:30 a.m. till 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, Sunday, April 17 and Monday, April 18. Completed cards must be turned into Purple Feather by 5:15 p.m. to be included in that day's drawing...If you're looking for slightly more sedate entertainment, "An Evening of Food and Conversation" with Pulitzer Prize-winning author and former Fine Arts Work Center fellow Jhumpa Lahiri takes place on Thursday, April 21, at a private residence in New York City. Reservations begin at $250 and may be made online at fawe.org or by calling (508) 487-9960, ext. 101. The event, hosted by Patrizia and Kimball Chen, is a benefit for FAWC...Thanks to Provincetown's Julie Heller Gallery, works by well known  Cape tip artists Ada Gilmore, Blanche Lazzell, Lucy L'Engle, Ethel Mars and more will be included in the exhibit "Women Artists: Transforming the Community (Providence to Provincetown 1880-1940)" at the Campus Art Gallery of UMass-Dartmouth's College of Visual and Performing Arts in North Dartmouth. Heller has loaned the works for the student-run show, which opens with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20...If you're up in Boston you might check out The Gold Dust Orphans' new show "Legally Blind: The Helen Keller Musical." Loosely based on "The Miracle Worker" and "Gypsy," it follows the misadventures of Annie Sullivan (Ryan Landry) and her student Helen (Jessica Barstis) as they wind their way through the ever-changing landscape of adult entertainment. It runs from April 21 to May 22 at The Machine, 1254 Boylston St., Boston, and Landry says it may not come to Provincetown this summer so folks should make a trip to the big city. Tickets can be purchased at brownpapertickets.com. ...Local employers eager to find workers for both seasonal and year-round employment are invited to register for the Nauset Job Fair. It's open to the public and draws hundreds of potential recruits from the Cape area, attracting people to fill positions in all skills, in all fields and at all levels. Deadline for registration is coming up on April 26; the fair takes place 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 28 at the Nauset Regional High School cafeteria.... If you've got the warderobe blues you might want to come to the Community Clothes Swap, offered by Truro's Christian Union Church at 27 Shore Road, this weekend. Drop off clean, gently used clothes between 4 and 6 p.m. on Friday, and come back between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday to choose from the selection. ...The church is also planning a Community Garden "brainstorming session" at 7:15 p.m. next Wednesday, April 20. If you've always wanted to be part of a community garden but didn't know how, or where to start, here's your chance.
